One of the things I haven’t had much time for, is reading other stories. I just never seem to have the time to read what other’s are doing, which is something I hope to correct this new year. With that in mind, I have found Gaydemon to be a great source of stories, that one can enjoy, for free.
I just finished reading a story from Peter, called The Wrestling Team.
In all honesty, I enjoyed the story. I didn’t believe the action, as it was portrayed, and I do rather think that gay bath houses are a bit less civilized than the one portrayed in the story, but all in all I found myself getting into the story. I liked the storyline a lot though, and felt, rather drawn to it. Kind of wished I had thought of it, though I may have one or two similar stories floating out there.
After all, isn’t that the entire object? To get into the story, to try and put yourself into the character’s shoes, to experience what they experience?
It is a long story, not something to quickly read over either, and I did enjoy the writing style. It was crisp, bit dated, but easy to follow. There were some awkward switches but given how long the story is, totally understandable.
